Twister Silos

Twister is one of the largest silo suppliers in Australia. Twister have specialised in large Flat Bottom Silos ranging in size from 240 tonne up to 1,450 tonne to suit a large range of on farm storage.
Twister silos have a 10” Clean Sweep unloading system built into the base, and there is a 10” U-trough set in the concrete base with a sweep for the final clean up. This easy to use system can deliver up to 180 tonne/hour. This unload system is operated by an electric or hydraulic motor which is controlled from the outside so no one has to enter the silo until a final clean up with a broom is needed. The entire system stays in the silo and does not need moving - very simple to use.
Twister In-floor Aeration is the best available on the market. This system can help dry and reduce moisture levels in your grain. These aerated silos allow you to harvest earlier and get headers rolling early ahead of the weather.
With correct aeration operation you can control insects in silos. Geronimo can provide temperate and moisture gauges for both inside and outside the silo and can be attached to self starters so the fans can start and stop automatically therefore you can look after your stored grain without worrying – protect your investment!  

Optional outside and inside ladders are available.
The outside ladder includes a a safety cage for bins 6, 7 and 8 tiers high.
For bins 9-12 tiers high, a safety cage, as well as a platform are provided. 
For larger bin solutions, Twister has staircase options with platforms.

The system can deliver 180 tons/hour, with a clean sweep uploading system as well as a U-trough in the base, operated by a hydraulic motor, so no one person has to go inside the silo, ensuring the operational efficiency as well as the safety of your workers.
