Swing Away Augers

Brandt Agricultural Products Ltd. has been building augers for over 60 years. Experience has shown that maximum capacity, combined with ease of servicability, is what producers are looking for in an auger.

By "Supercharging" the main auger tube, Brandt's 10" Mechanical Swing Away Augers have capacities of over 5100 bu/hr. The 13" Mechanical Swing Away Augers are capable of capacities in excess of 9500 bu/hr.* Both augers come standard with "Scissor Lift Undercarriages" and "Self-Leveling Low Profile hoppers". Boot access doors and removable gear box covers allow easy access to the gear boxes for regular maintenance.

The full length bottom clean-out, when used in combination with the optional reversing kit, allows for complete and hassle free cleaning between grain products or fertilizer.

*Independent testing performed by Alberta Farm Machinery Research Centre (AFMRC). Results based on wheat at a moisture content of 11.3% and an auger angle of 30 degrees. Capacities will vary depending on commodity, moisture content, and angle of incline.

Product Features
	10" Self-Leveling Hopper All 10" Swing Away augers come standard with "Self-Leveling Hoppers". The 10" Swing Away uses one 9" auger in the hopper. The double flighting and shielding ensures maximum swing auger feeding.
	Heavy Duty Gear Boxes and Removable Cover Mechanical, one-to-one gear boxes operate the high capacity Swing Away augers. Fully removable cover makes gear boxes easily accessible and allows unrestricted access to grease u-joints.
	Chain Coupler Gear Box All Brandt swing augers use chain couplers between the swing tube flighting and gear boxes for trouble free maintenance and longevity.
	Reversing Kit An optional reversing kit can be purchased to allow producers to reverse the auger flighting. This ensures complete clean-out between products. Note: The reversing kit has not been designed to unplug the auger and should not be used in this manner.
	Dual Hydraulic Rams The New 13" Scissor Lift Augers come standard with Dual Hydraulic Rams for lower hydraulic pressure requirements, saftey and stability.
	Powder Coating All Brandt products are painted using industry leading powder paint to enhance durability, appearance and resale value.
	13" Self-Levelling Hoppers All 13" Swing Away augers come standard with "Self-Leveling Hoppers". All 13" Swing Away augers come with three 6" horizontal feed augers. Extra large hopper (40"X57"X10") easily fits under any center dump grain trailer.
	Boot Clean out of the boot is easy through the side door or through the full length bottom access doors. Flighting from the boot into the main auger is Supercharged (1" larger) to ensure commodities are efficiently transferred into the main auger.
	PTO & Shield Optional reversing kit allows for complete cleanout between products. Removable shields improve servicability and facilitate early problem detection.
	13" Adjustable Axle For added stability the 13X90 comes standard with an adjustable axle with allows narrow transport on the road and excellent stability in the yard. Adjustable from 160" - 196"
	Scissor Lift The new scissor lift design provides an extra low transport height with improved bin reach.
